**Position Overview**:
As a Personal Support Worker (PSW) at Affinity Health, you will be instrumental in delivering personalized care services to our senior clients. Your role will encompass assisting with personal care routines, providing emotional support, and fostering companionship. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist seniors with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to seniors, fostering a sense of connection and well-being.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Administer medications and assist with medication reminders, as required.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition or needs to the appropriate supervisor.
- Foster positive relationships with clients and their families, ensuring open communication and trust.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards while delivering care services.

**Qualifications**:

- Personal Support Worker (PSW) designation from a recognized institution.
- Previous experience working with seniors in a caregiving capacity is preferred.
- Proficiency in personal care techniques, including assisting with activities of daily living.
- Strong judgment, problem-solving, and assessment abilities to address client needs effectively.
- Honest, dedicated, and flexible approach to caregiving responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality care with compassion and professionalism.

**Affinity Health and Safety**

In the interest of the health and safety of our patients/clients, employees, and greater good of public health, Affinity Health requires those that wish to work for this organization to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Fully vaccinated means a person has received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and it has been 14 days since the last dose.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
