**The Position Background**:Our Warranty Clerk is an integral part of our operation. they are aligned with who we are and where we are going as a company: Our Core Values of Communication, Learning, Engagement, Accountability and Respect are integral to the daily language, attitude, and behaviour of our Warranty Clerk.

**The Warranty Clerks’ Role**:This important position is focused on 2 key functions: Communication, Administration and Organization. In each function, the Warranty clerk ensures that a keen eye for attention to detail, efficient and effective work practices are deployed to ensure warrantied items are managed to a professional and proactive standard. The Role of our Warranty clerk is also to support the Mission and Vision of the company and support the successful pursuit of overarching company goals.

**The Warranty Clerks’ Responsibilities**:
**Communication**
- Communicate with service and construction department regarding faulty and defective equipment.

**Administration and Organization**
- Submit warranty claims to manufacturer.
- Process paperwork submitted by technicians to warranty clerk.
- Flag the appropriate technicians for labour hours conducted on specified equipment.
- Deliver claimed defective equipment to manufacturer if necessary.
- Maintain a status record of claims submitted including, returned, rejected and reimbursed claims.

**The Qualifications**:

- Past experience within the pool industry considered an asset.
- 1-2 years experience working with and repairing pool equipment preferred.
- Proficient with the following programs; Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Sage 300
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds using safe lifting practices.
- Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance.
- Customer service mentality is beneficial to ensure a positive employee and customer experience.
- High school diploma or GED.

**Hours of Work**:

- Shift start at 9:00am to 5:00pm.
- 2 days worked per week between Monday and Friday.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
