**Summary**

**Responsibilities**:
**Inventory**
- Requisition supplies and materials, ensuring inventory is accurately maintained in vehicle.
- Report all materials used during service on work orders confirming warehouse inventory is updated.

**Service**
- Plan and estimate material and labour requirements for individual service calls.
- Establish methods to meet service call schedules.
- Problem solve and recommend solutions to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Certify all installations and service completed meets Betz Pools quality standards.
- Effectively load vehicles with all tools and materials required.
- Travel to job sites across the GTA

**Demonstrations**
- Conduct “how to” demonstrations for customers with regards to pool parts, heaters and equipment maintenance.

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Maintain health and safety standards at all times.
- At least 2 years of previous experience in pool/spa repairs is preferred.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
- Well-developed leadership abilities.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times when representing the company.
- Ability to work with machinery, equipment, tools, pipes, etc.
- Specific knowledge of relevant technologies.
- Technical knowledge of in-ground pool/spa repairs is an asset.
- General understanding of basic electrical standards.
- Valid Driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
- Highly motivated, organized, and reliable.

**Work Conditions**
- Ability to travel
- Ability to lift and manipulate objects of up to 45 lbs is required.
- Use of Personal Protection Equipment will be required (e.g. hard-hat, safety boots, etc.)
- May be exposed to hazards associated with the industry.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8.5 months

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Pool and Spa service technician: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- G3 Gas license (preferred)
- Driving Licence (required)

Work Location: On the road
