Product Specialist

**Responsibilities**- Engage in meaningful conversations with customers and deliver exceptional customer service- Drive sales to achieve the required daily, weekly and monthly targets- Work well in a team environment and use available resources to ensure that the customer and store expectations are met- Provide customers with relevant information, products and guidance (within reason) regarding their natural health needs- Replenish and stock merchandise appropriately on displays- Maintain a safe, clean and organized working and shopping environment- Maintains an in-depth knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and other health and beauty items in the department- Process transactions via POS system
- Comply with all company rules, regulations, policies and sanitation standards

**Requirements**:
- Must have knowledge of natural health, including vitamins, supplements, and nutrition- 1-2 years of Health Product Knowledge is an asset- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices- On going and up to date knowledge regarding nutrition trends and attaining optimal health- Knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills- Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English with customers, peers and management- Ability to multitask, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision- Physical demands: This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting and climbing ladders- Enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service
- Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and overnight shifts
