**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive incoming product in a timely and accurate manner
- Inspect product for correct size, grade, schedule, quantity, stenciling, and damage
- Verify shipments against packing slips and receiving documentation
- Complete receiving inspection documentation and backorder paperwork accurately
- Ensure Mill Test Reports and related documentation are complete and properly recorded
- Report damaged or non-conforming product using established non-conformance processes
- Communicate product arrivals, backorders, and issues to the Warehouse Coordinator and relevant departments
- Organize and place product into established storage and staging areas
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required
- Support order picking and packing when receiving duties are complete
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company Quality, Health & Safety requirements, policies and procedures
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

**Teamwork & Communication**
- Work closely with the warehouse team and relevant departments to support daily operations
- Attend regular team meetings and maintain a professional, collaborative attitude
- Support training for new personnel and help maintain a safe work environment

Working Conditions
- Majority of the day spent standing, walking, bending, and crouching
- Indoor and outdoor work environments
- Manual lifting up to approximately 50lbs
- Use of forklifts and warehouse equipment
- Overtime may be required from time to time

**Desired Skills and Qualifications**:

- Experience in warehouse receiving or general warehouse operations
- Ability to accurately inspect and document incoming product
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse material-handling equipment (certification an asset)
- Comfortable completing receiving documentation using computer systems
- Ability to read, interpret, and work with numbers and measurements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Proven ability to adapt to shifting priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High level of accountability and commitment to safety
