**What can you expect from the role?**

Acting as a paralegal with sole carriage of Accident Benefits files, representing Definity at the License Appeal Tribunal, including preparing responses, acting in settlement negotiations, engaging with experts and other third parties supporting litigation, reporting to the client, providing opinions, and preparing written hearing submissions and, on occasion, appearing in front of the Tribunal for oral argument.

**What you bring to this role?**
- Paralegal program (degree or diploma)/P1 LSO License preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Insurance Defense or commercial litigation experience
- Previous experience with the License Appeal Tribunal and Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule including procedural knowledge of the Tribunal
- Excellent negotiation and facilitation skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills across a range of contexts
- Ability to perform under pressure, meet deadlines and handle multiple, yet sometimes conflicting priorities
- Team player and self-motivated

High degree of proficiency with English required to service customers, both internal to the company and external, across Canada.

Salary Range: $69,000 - $127,000
