**Job Summary**:
As a Construction Estimator, your excellent analytical skills will enable you to accurately estimate work costs and the resources required to complete projects. Your proactive attitude will enable you to make sound suggestions for improving our bidding processes.

**More specifically, you will**:

- Analyze and interpret plans and bids, then estimate project costs;
- Study and analyze bids received, recommend acceptance or rejection, and negotiate prices and contracts with the various parties involved;
- Gather all relevant information for each construction project and follow up internally;
- Communicate and discuss with the customer and various stakeholders to inform them of changes and cost adjustments;
- Advise on bidding procedures;
- Set up and maintain bidding, control and reporting systems and procedures;
- Prepare and maintain directories of suppliers, subcontractors and other industry professionals.

**Desired qualifications**:

- The person we are looking for has a strong analytical and synthesizing mind. Friendly and respectful, they offer the best possible customer service.

**Training** : 
- AEC in building or construction estimating; DEC in construction or architecture; or a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience;
- Excellent command of AutoCAD software;
- In-depth knowledge of Régie du bâtiment du Québec standards and codes;
- Professional experience in the industrial and commercial sectors;
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- Will be considered an asset:

- Knowledge of the General Estimator software;
- Experience in the agri-food sector;
- Knowledge of SketchUp software;
- Bilingualism.

**Salary**: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
