We are seeking a skilled and experienced **Lead Carpenter** to join our team and help drive our projects forward.

**Position Overview**

The Lead Carpenter will oversee day-to-day site carpentry operations, ensuring that projects are executed with precision, safety, and efficiency. This role requires hands-on expertise in carpentry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate with crews, subcontractors, and management to deliver exceptional results.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead, supervise, and mentor carpentry crews on job sites.
- Perform high-quality carpentry work including framing, finishing, cabinetry, doors, windows, trim, and other custom work as required.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to execute accurate builds.
- Plan and delegate daily work tasks, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Inspect work progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to resolve issues on site.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and job site organization.
- Train apprentices and junior carpenters, fostering skill growth and professionalism.
- Enforce company safety policies and ensure all work adheres to building codes and regulations.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 5+ years of professional carpentry experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction methods and carpentry techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Red Seal certification or equivalent (preferred, but not required depending on jurisdiction).
