As a Lead Carpenter, you are directly responsible for carrying out the job from start to finish. You will have the ability to lead and supervise a team of carpenters and subcontractors involved in a project. You must have the ability to work with a team, as well as independently. The Lead Carpenter must be able to work under pressure, and meet required deadlines, on a wide variety of projects.

**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Coordinates and supervises the daily site activities of carpenters and sub-trades
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Monitors the schedule in coordination with Project Management and provides daily reporting.
- Keep informed of the entire project scope including revisions, change orders or changes to the scope of work
- Perform various carpentry duties
- Prepare cost estimates for clients
- Assist project managers in estimating, creating schedules, ordering materials, and preparing multiple sites for start of construction
- Ensures appropriate safety requirements are met at all times

**Qualifications & Education**
- Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Showcasing excellent leadership skills
- Extensive knowledge of power tools
- Knowledge of lumber grades and countertop materials
- Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
- Capable of climbing on ladders and carrying at least 50 pounds
- Willingness to work overtime, when necessary, to deliver the project on time
- Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
- Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
- Valid Driver's License

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
