Shipping Supervisor

Kromet International Inc is currently seeking a Shipping Supervisor to effectively supervise a production group to ensure the employees are safe while quality products are manufactured in an efficient way using the tools and resources available.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Ensure production deadlines are met and fulfilled as required.

2. Must be able to do paperwork for export customers

3. Collaborate and coordinate with subsequent departments as necessary to meet customer demands

4. Anticipate and react to potential production interruptions and aid in recovery to minimize production loss

5. Work on continuous improvement initiatives in respective department

6. Develop and maintain employee relations on a professional respectable level

7. Facilitate and document various training as required

8. Coach / provide feedback as necessary to improve the production and quality levels of all employees discipline as required

9. Complete various documents as necessary.

10. Coordinate with maintenance department any maintenance requests on machines.

11. Customer Services work for selected Kromet customers

12. Ensure all processes and programs are based on the ISO 9002 Quality System, where applicable.

13. Inspect/ensure that finished product meets customer requirements.

**Skills, Experience and Education**:

- Minimum grade 12 education, post secondary education
- Minimum 3 years experience in as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing with proven results.
- Must be flexible for all shifts
- Fully experienced in all versions of Windows, timekeeping and manufacturing systems.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Dayshift with possible extra hours/weekends need flexibility.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
