**We are currently searching for a detail oriented, patient focused Order Entry Clerk to work casual at our Mississauga location - 2785 Skymark Avenue.**

**Schedule**:
**Fridays: 1pm - 9pm**
**Saturday & Sunday: 9am - 7pm**

**Stat Holidays: 9am - 7pm (Rotational, on occasion)**
**The flexibility to cover shifts during the week is an asset**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- The Order Entry Clerk is responsible for the system entry of medical and I.V. supply orders.
- Download and prioritize all supply orders according to delivery date and time.
- Accurately process medical supply orders via EDI upload, or manually into the system.
- Review orders before entry to ensure that the orders are complete and accurate. Any discrepancies are brought to the attention of the Customer Service Representatives.
- Log into the telephone system and answer incoming calls to assist patients/customers.
- Coordinate the delivery of unsuccessful medical and IV supply orders.
- Corresponds with purchasing/warehouse department regarding stock discrepancies.
- Assist Customer Service Representatives by calling medical and IV supply clients to arrange delivery of their items.
- Filing of prescriptions and other pharmacy support duties as assigned.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Previous order entry experience is preferred
- Well-developed keyboarding skills
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and telephone skills
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to multi-task and prioritize
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the requirements of our evolving business needs
