**Job Summary**
As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety, and mentoring your team to deliver outstanding results.
**Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage the kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
- Oversee food preparation processes to ensure quality, presentation, and adherence to safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage food costs effectively.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques, food handling procedures, and safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during peak hours.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into the kitchen operations.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food service management, including inventory control and cost management.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines with a passion for food preparation.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in both cooking and presentation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for kitchen operations.

Pay: $45,530.19-$80,899.80 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
