**The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Generalist to provide support and expertise to the Organization's human resources activities.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for continuing to develop and administer effective systems in all areas of HR including recruitment and onboarding programs, HRIS administration and employee and labour relations. You will provide support to internal clients in the interpretation and administration of the collective agreement, HR policies and processes. The HR Generalist will represent management on the Union / Management Committee and serve as a resource or as a member on other in-house committees.
**About You**
Your related post-secondary education and human resources training is complemented by a minimum of 2 years of related experience in a unionized environment. If you have or are working towards your CHRL designation, that is a plus You are a motivated HR professional with a passion for providing exemplary service, attention to detail and the proven ability to work both independently while supporting a larger organizational team. Your interpersonal skills and abilities help you thrive in a fast-paced environment. You have success working cooperatively to resolve issues such as complaints and grievances and enjoy collaborating with partners to align best practices.
