**THE OPPORTUNITY - Social Enterprise Manager - Airport (Full-time)**
**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Plan for and respond to human resource factors that will impact the business, such as, seasonal changes, workforce shifts, work flow changes, absences, etc.
- Develop, implement, and monitor lifecycle and strategic business planning for the business operations, including capital assets.
- Establish community partnerships and linkages consistent with the strategic goals of the business.
- Manage the business's financial resources, annual budgeting, monitoring financial performance, reviewing invoices, tracking and approving expenditures; prioritizing needs and operating within fiscal guidelines (e.g., monitoring product flow, tracking expenditures for capital projects, inventory control, etc.)
- Track training requirements and ensure all staff have received required training and all training requirements are up to date
- Provide leadership, direction and support to all employees reporting to the position 2
- Act as a mentor and coach to front-line supervisors in all areas of human resource management and performance management and when required
- Respond to crisis/emergency situations on an on-call basis
- Managing health and safety requirements and ensuring quarterly risk reports are completed
- Ensure excellent customer service by developing systems and structures that are proactive and responsive to customer service expectations
**WHAT YOU BRING**
We are looking to engage team members with diverse skills, experiences and interests. These are some of the competencies and credentials we are looking for:
- Degree in Business Administration, Airport Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of directly related management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience supervising a large team of employees is required.
- Proficient working knowledge on computers and applicable software programs (e.g., Microsoft windows and office suite, etc.)
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management and strategic planning.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Class 5 driver’s licence, clean drivers abstract is required
- Demonstrate a high standard of professionalism aligned with Vecova values
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all Vecova team members
- Represent Vecova in a professional manner
- Demonstrate a high level of initiative and enthusiasm
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Demonstrate a high level of administrative and IT capacity
