**Job Summary**:
Supervise and perform supply chain processes related to shipping and receiving and order fulfillment. The Shipping/Receiving Supervisor will promote consistency, efficiency, and accuracy in all essential functions.

**Essential Functions**:

- Execution of supply chain processes - Shipping and receiving and order fulfilment.
- Pre-Planning Daily Shipment: Picking, packing and shipping skids, parcels, boxes.
- Shipping of all orders from the facility in a timely manner and meet customer’s specifications
- Assist with obtaining and negotiating freight rates with carriers.
- Prepare shipping documents for commercial freight and exports (Packing lists, slips, bill of ladings, CI, USMCA, etc).
- Communicating with distributors / customers to determine suitable shipping methods and delivery times.
- Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
- Tracking of all domestic and international shipments.
- Resolves problems with concerning transportation, logistic system, imports/exports, or customer delivery issues.
- Receiving all goods in a timely manner and verifying against packing slips and purchase order.
- Responsible for distributing/moving goods to designated location within the facility and as requested by the end user.
- Can do local (GTA) delivery or pickups with company van (Valid Driver’s License and Clear Driving Record).
- Review and approve freight, courier and brokerage invoices.
- Assist with creating procedures for logistics activities.

**Education & Experience Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience as Shipping/Receiving Supervisor.
- Solid knowledge of logistics procedures
- Comfortable with technology and has a strong working knowledge of MS office suite, ERP system(s)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
- Displays ambitious, positive attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, work proactively and independently in a fast-changing environment.
- Self-directed with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and a focus on results
- High school diploma with 7-8 years of experience; BSc/BA with 2-3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics or relative field is a definite plus.
