**Position**: Warehouse-Shipping Supervisor
As shipping supervisor, you would be responsible for part of the supply chain by overseeing, coordinating, tracking and scheduling shipments and transportation logistics as part of the warehouse team. This position will require prioritizing tasks and ensuring efficient space utilization.
**Job Functions**:
- Coordinate and oversee daily shipping activities to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Ensure optimization of process and efficient space utilization and product allocation.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Responsible for shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and maintaining inventories and shipment of products.
- Scheduling transportation and routes and other related activities.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulations.
- Initiative to improve current processes by implementing shipping policies and procedures that result in efficiency and cost savings.
- Train, assign, assist and review tasks with colleagues in joint-job duties and collaborate with other departments.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy to ensure shipments are delivered correctly.
- Review and approve shipping documentation.
- Resolve any issues related to shipping.
- Perform warehouse labour duties to ensure the shipment of products are delivered properly and in a timely manner.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in shipping-receiving, logistics, supply chain, warehouse or any related field.
- Diploma/Certificate in supply chain, production, manufacturing, warehouse or any related area of study or experience.
- Forklift driver/licence.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team
- Excellent organizational and planning skills to ensure timely and efficient shipping operations.
- Previous experience in shipping -receiving, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge using shipping software/system.
- Knowledge of shipping processes and record keeping.
- Ability to resolve shipping-related issues in a timely manner.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift 50 pounds and do physical work such as bending, twisting, carrying, stand for long period of time, walking, etc.

- 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8am-4:30 pm with possibility to become evening shift.
- Holidays and Weekends (if needed)
- Should be available for overtime hours if required
