**Position Summary**:
Our Medical Imaging department is part of the Joint Department of Medical Imaging (JDMI) comprised of Women’s College Hospital, Mount Sinai Hospital and the University Health Network (Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto General Hospital, Toronto Western Hospital and Toronto Rehab Hospital).

At Women’s College Hospital we provide and support imaging and interventional services in an ambulatory (out-patient) care environment. We are fully affiliated with the University of Toronto and are actively engaged in advancing diagnostic practices through research and academics. Our work is focused on improving and advocating the health of women as seen through our recent MSK Ultrasound and Virtual Colonography initiatives. We also boast one of the province’s first Large Bore MRI Scanners. With its larger than normal opening, this scanner provides more comfort for our patients.

We are looking for a passionate Full-Time **Medical Imaging, Coordinator** to join our team of dedicated professionals

Summary of Duties, but not limited to:

- Participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of systems, which support the efficient and effective operation of the unit including establishing administrative and technical systems to ensure quality assurance program supporting pathology reports and Imaging consults. (such as: data collection/statistical analysis, proper records management/documentation procedures, developing appropriate schedules, etc.)
- Provides regular dashboard reporting to the Director of Medical Imaging for consult requests and pathology performed.
- Manages and maintains electronic calendar/schedule of assigned personnel, including coordinating, scheduling, and confirming appointments and various other activities for management (i.e. Radiologist site Director, Director of Medical Imaging, and the Modality Supervisors).
- Coordinates and schedules activities within Women’s College Hospital and the University of Toronto - i.e., Clinical Teaching Round.
- Schedules and supports monthly meetings (that review operations and future vision/plans) for WCH on-site radiologists, Radiologist site Director, Director of Medical Imaging, WCH Medical Imaging Leadership group, Managers of Medical Imaging JDMI by booking rooms, preparing draft agendas, notifying guests, preparing minutes, and following up on action items.
- Prepares correspondence drafts, proofreads letters and reports, prepares power-point presentations for quality meetings, incident reporting, JDMI Managerial Leadership meetings. Responsible for maintaining confidentiality when preparing draft budget documents, collecting, and providing all staff Performance Appraisals for Director review and sign off, and when providing and ensuring completeness of all reimbursement forms.
- Receives and reviews all documents for signature by the Director of Medical Imaging and Radiologist site Director to check for completeness before processing.
- Coordinates and/or reviews the work assignments of others for the Quality Huddle lead, Hand Hygiene audits, some operational efficiency projects, and some cost optimization projects.
- Assists with the coordination of research studies at WCH including performing data analysis and preparing standard or ad-hoc analytic reports to support clinical research.
- Builds and maintains a research database in addition to designing research report forms and archiving system.
- Identifies and prepares current electronic studies/images for distribution, viewing, auditing and diagnostics.

**Qualifications/Skills**:

- Undergraduate degree in healthcare administration, research, business administration or a related field is required.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in health care environment is required, ambulatory experience is an asset.
