**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**

KPC - USG, is looking for a **Meter Assembly Technician** who will be primarily focused on the assembly, calibration, testing, and maintenance of meters used for measuring utilities. With our company divisions expanding, opportunities are endless, and we are excited to welcome someone who can adapt and grow with us.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide assembly services in the areas of energy metering
- Installation and wiring of metering systems
- Test and calibrate PowerMaster Meter Analyzers
- Test and certify multi-meters
- Ensure safe work procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Update all job folder documentation
- Maintain all material stock levels as required
- Ability to load/offload various types of logistic vehicles
- Understanding of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
- Perform other duties as assigned

**WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU**
- High school diploma
- Post-secondary diploma in an Electrical/Electronics discipline an asset
- Experience and/or courses in a trades discipline
- Ability to acquire Emergency First Aid and CPR certification
- Must be a self-starter and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Able to wire electrical circuits with the aid of drawings, prints, and instruction
- Ability to learn and operate testing equipment and workstations
- Experience in lifting and hoisting techniques
- Positive, proactive, and high energy level, comfortable performing all activities within a warehouse environment in conjunction with all day-to-day activities
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, contractors, and members of the public
- Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to operate various pneumatic and electric tools such as nailers, saws, impact devices, etc.
- Certified or able to obtain certification to operate a forklift and mobile cranes
- Shipping and receiving knowledge would be an asset
- Physically fit, able to lift various types and weights of equipment
