We are dedicated to innovation, quality, and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a motivated and skilled **Parking Meter Technician** to join our team in Ajax, Ontario.

As a Parking Meter Technician, you will be responsible for maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of the MacKay line of parking equipment either in-house or on-site at customer premises. This includes traditional electronic parking meters, newer smart parking meters and pay stations that utilize wireless communication, solar power and have credit card payment. Additionally, you will provide parking equipment on-site installation and training to customers. Some travel throughout Ontario will be required.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Install, program, and configure parking meters, pay stations and related equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on electronic meter systems.
- Troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, power, and performance.
- Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with local authorities or contractors for site access and installation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
- Provide feedback to engineering and support teams on equipment performance and field issues.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary technical training is an asset.
- 1-3 years of experience in a field service, electronics, or mechanical technician role.
- Basic knowledge of electronics, wiring, and troubleshooting tools.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills, oral and written, and a professional attitude.
- Solid record of personal/professional integrity as verified through references.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.

**Additional Assets**:

- Training in analog/digital theory and microprocessors.
- Electronic and mechanical parking equipment operation, maintenance and repair.
- High Reliability Soldering Certification.
- Bi-lingual (English and French).
