Specialist, Merchandising Data Governance

**What you’ll do**

Reporting to the Manager
- Merchandising Data Governance, the Specialist will be accountable to work with merchandising and digital teams in solving user issues. You will have to understand Merchandising/Assortment requirements and conduct various operational tasks.
- This is an entry level role with excellent growth opportunity.
- Identify opportunities to document and operationalize internal processes.
- Identify root causes and proactively look for improvements to eliminate or reduce possible issues
- There will be an equal split between operational tasks, report running and business analysis.
- Ensure proper support procedures, documentation, and tools are in place to support the various projects and internal users
- Build and sustain EUCs, data uploads, conduct UAT and manage group mailbox.
- Conduct basic data-pull from source and provide inferences to facilitate decision making.
- Support activities related to product taxonomies, attribution, new assortment classification within our MDM platform (Stibo STEP)

**What you bring**
- 1-3 years of experience, preferably in retail industry will be considered an asset
- Good knowledge on Microsoft Excel (vba) and Microsoft Access
- Exposure to retail merchandising concepts and data-analysis will be considered an asset.
- Demonstrated problem solving experience and strong analytical skills
- Flexible, with ability to adapt to change and ambiguity
