Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies
- Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and contracting with vendors
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
- Analyze market trends and conditions to identify potential suppliers and ensure competitive pricing
- Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluations and contract renewals
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
- Utilize MRP systems to track and manage purchasing activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain process
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager within the same or simlar industry
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain management principles
- Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and ERP systems
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
