Job Description: Under the direction of the Head Chef, with moderate kitchen experience, assist with the daily operations of the kitchen for customer service of the cafeteria, dining room and bar by assisting in the correct preparation, cooking, baking and other food preparation items as directed by the Head Chef; assist the Head Chef in active preparation of plates for delivery to customers via servers; maximize Powder King revenue, while maximizing quick and accurate customer service.

- Complete duties as the line cook.
- Maintain positive mental energy and serve Powder King with enthusiasm.
- Assist in maximizing the revenue sources of Powder King.
- Assist in the jovial, yet professional, atmosphere at Powder King.
**Responsibilities**:
Perform and complete the duties, not necessarily specified below, but are the specific requirements of the owners of Powder King in supporting the Powder King mission statement, such as:
- Assist in motivating kitchen staff in support of quick and accurate orders.
- Prepare all food for kitchen by retrieval of items out of the fridge and freezer, as directed by the Working Chef.
- Be pro-active in assisting the Working Chef creating food orders.
- Assist in inventory all food at the end of the week prior to creating draft supply order.
- Assist in the proper stacking and storage of garbage and recycling items.
- Create a jovial, yet professional atmosphere in the kitchen.
- Complete all time sheets daily for manager’s submission to the office on Sunday.
Powder King is open Thursday - Monday
