**Overview**
The Yoga Bar is seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, prepare espresso beverages, monitor espresso quality, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Use Point of Sale (POS) system to handle cash and credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy with each transaction
- Keep machines, equipment, work station neat and clean throughout the day
- Pannini & smoothies station: prepare, plate/pack, and deliver orders to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering recommendations.
- Manage inventory levels of food items and supplies, assisting with restocking as needed.
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Assist members of the fitness studio.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry required.
- Previous barista experience required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one upon hiring
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Passion for food and coffee
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn and grow in the role

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
