Marketing Coordinator
Blue Link is searching for a talented content creator and data-driven marketer to own Blue Link’s social media channels and to work with the Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing and Sales in executing marketing campaigns and content creation. As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for generating ideas and creating content and other marketing assets for all social media channels including LinkedIn, plus take ownership of LinkedIn Sales Navigator and contribute content to other areas of marketing including YouTube and the Blue Link Blog.
We are looking for an ambitious content creator to write and produce social media content and other company assets including blog posts. This person will be responsible for identifying and executing opportunities to improve our company’s social media presence and our content’s search rank (SEO) for key terms and will be expected to develop and track all content campaigns to ultimately increase the number of qualified leads attracted to our product. This role requires a high level of creativity, initiative, attention to detail, writing and project management skills.
The ideal individual will be ambitious, outgoing, organized, able to work on several projects simultaneously and excited to learn in a fast-paced environment. They will have a curious nature and desire to always be searching for new ideas. They will also have a concrete understanding of the different social media platforms and a personable attitude for engaging with other employees, partners, and customers as it relates to content creation.
Responsibilities: Social Media
- Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram and additional channels that may be deemed relevant
- Create sharable content and drive relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence to our website and sales team
- Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both with existing leads and customers as well as with brand new audiences
- Work alongside the Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing and Sales to help distribute content that educates and entertains our audience and supports our marketing goals
- Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach our target audience
- Track, measure and analyze all initiatives to report on social media ROI
YouTube
- Manage and grow the company’s YouTube channel through the creation of new content and modification/management of existing content
- Work with video editing tools and software to create, edit, and publish relevant video material to attract and convert visitors
- Track, measure and analyze all initiatives to report on video ROI
LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Work with the Marketing Manager and sales team to develop search criteria on a monthly basis
- Search and filter for accounts and leads that follow Blue Link’s Target Market
- Track, measure and analyze all initiatives to report on LinkedIn Sales Navigator ROI
- Create and edit Smart Link content using sales best practices
Content Creation - Blog
- Generate new and unique content ideas for our blog that attracts and converts a qualified audience to our software, without cannibalizing existing content
- Turn ideas into finished work and monitor performance to help improve clickthrough rates, increase website visitors and increase conversions across all marketing material
- Optimize all content for search engines following SEO best practises and taking into consideration keyword rankings
- Refresh and update existing content to improve performance
