Who We Are

What You’ll Do
- Process weekly payroll for over 100 employees and maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
- Audit timecards on DayForce using the knowledge of the Collective Agreement
- Adjust employee rates in master file using weekly manpower schedule for direction
- Create reports for labour costing, pension, and month end journals
- Generate monthly payments to Employer Health Tax and Union
- Issue ROE’s when required on ROE Website following Service Canada guidelines
- Reconcile T4’s at the end of the year
- Update and maintain employee records on WEBS (Group Health) system
- Issue benefit cards through WEBS
- Maintain files with employee’s benefits enrollment and benefit providers’ contracts
- Create biweekly overtime roster and maintain records on Access program
- Issue swipe cards for front gate and maintain employee records in Centaur system
- Assist with hourly recruiting and employee response and reward programs
- Create and facilitate vacation pick schedule annually for hourly employees
- Schedule biannual medicals and liaise with medical clinic

What You’ll Need

**To be successful in this position, you must**:

- Possess a post-secondary education, preferred in Accounting, Payroll, and/or Human Resources
- Have prior experience with computerized benefit and payroll systems, knowledge of Ceridian DayForce a plus
- Be proficient in data entry with strong computer skills (Microsoft Office products) and be willing to be trained on various company business systems
- Have experience and understanding of the garnishment process
