**About the Role**:
Reporting to the QA Supervisor, The Inspector QA completes QA activities related to the receipt, co-packing and labeling of Client products at a Nova Pack site. The Inspector QA is also responsible for the execution of QA specific requirements at the site. The Inspector QA will promote and consistently exemplify the organizations values as well as uphold safety polices including safe work practices at the site.
**Other Responsibilities**:
- Perform hourly inspection of production lines
- Perform in-process and finished goods inspections on a regular basis to ensure packaging activities are executed following Nova Pack procedures
- Perform receiving and shipping QA activities
- Perform all activities following Nova Pack SOP
- Assist with issuance of work orders to the packaging line
- Approve issuance of materials & products to a packaging line at the beginning and during execution of a work order
- Review the work order and other documents associated with the packaging activities for GDP, accuracy and completeness. Provide timely feedback to Production personnel and Supervisor QA when issues are noted
- Verify material and product reconciliation during packaging
- Identify any deviations during the packaging process and report to the Team Leader QA or Supervisor QA
- Assist in quality related investigations
- Assist QA management in regulatory, Client and self-inspection audits
- Support activities related to Precursor products
- Perform other duties as required
**Who you are**:
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent,
- Diploma, certificate or other evidence of formal qualification from university, college or technical institute in science is desirable
- Previous knowledge or experience at a GMP facility and/or in a Packaging / Co-packing environment
- Able to read, write and understand English,
- Above average Keyboard/Computer literacy (MS Office),
- Understanding of GMP, GDP and company procedures
- Maintains a high level of integrity
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of GMP
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Understands the importance of good internal and external customer relationships
- Has a sense of accountability when managing the work environment
- Shows respect in the workplace to all departments and peers
- Flexible with hours and shifts
- Able to drive and travel within GTA
**Shift**: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm
**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
