**Position Summary**

Reporting to the Venue Services Manager the Service Coordinator is a service minded individual with excellent organizational skills. An independent worker, the Service Coordinator, establishes work priorities to meet deadlines, exercises judgment and discretion in the handling of all department-related materials, and provides excellent customer service to internal and external clients. This position involves a wide variety of coordination and administrative functions involving confidential and time sensitive materials.

**Note: This is a 1 Year Limited Term Contact**

**Closing Date: Tuesday April 22, 2025**

**Responsibilities**

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

- Support and assist the department/organization with year-round programs, projects and events
- Ensure all internal and external work is processed, scheduled, monitored and fulfilled accurately promptly and efficiently
- Demonstrate an understanding of the mechanics and theory of product and services delivered by the Venue Services team.
- Facilitate and coordinate with the Sales and Events team to ensure work required by the Venue Services team is communicated to ensure the work is completed and deadlines are met
- Represent the department at a variety of internal meetings
- Coordinate and facilitate creation, issuing, re-issuing and closing of service orders as well as month end procedures
- Manage a variety of administrative tasks including, but not limited to, mail distribution, agenda creation, recording minutes, data entry and the development of presentations, written communications and reports

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in administrative support
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience using Smartsheet
- Advanced Knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to convey relevant project information to stakeholders, both internal and external
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Able to work independently and within a team environment
- High level of confidentiality
