**Position**: Cedar Branches Shelter Support Worker

**Hours**: Part time. Tuesday, 6am to 2pm, Thursday and Friday, 2pm to 10pm. Contracted for 24 hours/week, with potential to work up to 40 hours.

**Reporting Relationship**: Reports to the Cedar Branches Program Manager

**Location**: Duncan, BC

**Start Date**: Immediate

**Hourly Wage**: $27.32 per hour

Cedar Branches is a low barrier shelter that supports homeless women in the Cowichan Valley. We operate a 24/7 program, with 22 beds including a limited overnight drop in. We also provide some services at the door, referrals to other service providers and access to a Nurse Practitioner. The women who access Cedar Branches can have complex physical, mental and emotional health issues and are often substance affected. We make every effort to do no further harm, so front line experience is considered a valued asset.

Our team needs someone with a kind, compassionate heart and calm demeanor.

Emergency First Aid with CPR/C, a criminal record check and Naloxone training are required for this position.
