Our mission of "Empowering YOU to be YOU, one outfit at a time" is brought to life through the GARAGE and DYNAMITE banners and represents the consumer-centric core of GDI's long-standing success as a leading retailer in North America. **Job Summary**: **Main Responsibilities**: - Configure and maintain the network infrastructure, including Fortinet firewalls, Extreme Networks switches, routers, and wireless access points; - Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to ensure high availability and reliability; - Implement and maintain network security policies, firewall rules, VPN configurations, and segmentation strategies; - Perform proactive maintenance, firmware upgrades, and patch management for network devices; - Assist in the design and rollout of new network projects, including store openings, office expansions, and cloud integrations; - Troubleshoot complex network incidents and coordinate with vendors or service providers as needed; - Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including diagrams, inventories, and change records; - Collaborate with IT Security and Technical Support teams to support incident response, monitoring, and access control initiatives; - Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical network issues after hours. ** Qualifications**: - Education: Diploma or degree in Computer Networking, Information Technology, or a related field; - Experience: 3-5 years of experience in network administration or an equivalent technical support role. - Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer); - Proficiency with Extreme Networks switches and wireless systems; - Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, routing, and switching; - Familiarity with network monitoring tools and security best practices; - Experience with SD-WAN, network segmentation, and VoIP setups is an asset; - Knowledge of cloud networking concepts (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities; - Excellent communication and teamwork skills; - Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive; - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies; - Availability for occasional after-hours support.
