Production Worker

Our Organization Prime Health Ltd is a fastest growing NNHP (Natural and Non-prescription Health Product) manufacturing company based in Maple Ridge, BC having presence in North America, Asia, Middle East and Latin American countries. We are passionate in delivering result and customer satisfaction. To boost our growth, we are looking for a Production Worker (Compression Machine Operator) who can contribute in the following activities.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Machine Setup & Operation Set up and calibrate the tablet compression machine according to batch requirements. Adjust settings such as tablet weight, hardness, thickness, and speed. Load material into the machine and ensure smooth operation.
- Process Monitoring Continuously monitor the compression process to ensure tablets meet specifications. Identify and resolve issues like capping, lamination, sticking, or weight variation. Conduct periodic checks and adjust machine parameters as needed.
- Quality Control & Documentation Perform in-process checks (weight, thickness, hardness, friability). Record batch details, production data, and any deviations in logbooks. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Cleaning & Maintenance Clean and sanitize the machine and surrounding area after batch completion. Conduct routine maintenance and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team. Ensure tooling (punches and dies) is cleaned and stored properly.
- Material Handling Weigh and transfer granules for compression. Handle and store raw materials safely. Dispose of rejected tablets as per company procedures.
- Safety & Compliance Follow all safety protocols, including PPE usage. Ensure compliance GMP, and company regulations.
- Read and comprehend work order requirements before to the production.
- Clean, setup & operate encapsulation or tablet machines, accessories, and rooms within the standard time frame per SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) requirement.
- Ensure proper machine startup check and complete the necessary paperwork in the work order (WO) before starting production.
- Monitor the encapsulation or tablet machine operations and perform in-process capsules/tablets weight check, adjusting as necessary.
- Verify that all labels match the work order.
- Perform trouble shooting during production.
- Maintain a clear understanding of the company GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Adhere to all safety policies, ensuring a hazard-free work environment.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Secondary school education is a must.
- Require 1 to 2 years experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or a similar industry.
- Basic knowledge of machine mechanics for maintenance or trouble shooting.
- Knowledge of GMP principles.
- Prior manufacturing experience in encapsulation & tableting is a desired asset.
- The ability to demonstrate safely working in a physically demanding environment where lifting up to 50lbs is a common occurrence.
- A cooperative, positive and willing attitude all while keeping good communication and behavior with co-workers and management.
- A keen focus on the little things and an understanding of the importance of attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
- You understand that no one thing can be overlooked, and there is no such thing as sacrificing quality.
- The ability to work well on your own or co-operatively based on the needs of the business.

**Job Types**:Full-time, Permanent

**Salary Range**: CA $18.00 To $25.00 Hourly (based on skills and experience)

**Schedule**:Monday to Friday (required availability to work in morning or evening shifts based on business requirement).
