The WestGen Group of Companies based in Abbotsford, BC is seeking to hire a Marketing Manager to implement its strategic marketing plan. If you are an energetic, organized, experienced marketing professional with a good understanding of the Canadian dairy industry and thrive in a fast-fast paced work environment we want to hear from you.

As Marketing Manager, you will develop and manage marketing programs in specific channels, support business objectives, for all the brands within the WestGen Group of Companies and direct all activities related to promoting the growth of these brands in the market. Numerous promotions, regular communications pieces in print and electronic, and the company’s presence at industry events will be yours to direct and manage. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who understands the importance of marketing in driving the business forward.

**Job Summary**

Provide leadership in the creation and execution of the group of companies evolving marketing plan. Included are all communications, advertising, branding, positioning, and promotions to effectively elevate WestGen, Cryogen, Bow Valley Genetics, Agwest Veterinary Group, and Proventus images in the marketplace.

**Job Duties**
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans
- Develop and execute the full scope of various marketing campaigns, from organizing events to determining budgets and reporting
- Managing all marketing for the company and activities within the marketing department
- Event coordination and participation at trade shows and other industry events
- Co-ordination of marketing campaigns with sales activities
- Developing and monitoring annual Promotion/Advertising budgets, ensuring actual expenditures are aligned
- Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans
- Planning and implementing promotional campaigns
- Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results
- Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity from clothing to vehicles to community outreach
- Preparing online and print marketing and social media campaigns
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications
- Creating a wide range of different marketing materials
- Working closely with design agencies and assisting with new product launches
- Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives
- Analyzing potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
- Strong knowledge of the Canadian Bovine Industry
- Qualified chartered marketer
- Strong analytical thinking, planning, prioritizing, and project management skills
