**_ As an Epic Life & Benefits Specialist a typical day might include:_**
- Working with department managers, directors, CFO, and other stakeholders to develop, test, and implement new Epic Life & Benefits Workflows
- Configuring all areas required in Epic for Life & Benefits workflows (e.g., Policy Types, flagging, etc.)
- Working with the Epic Systems, P&C division to ensure workflows and configuration follow a consistent and repeatable philosophy
- Working with the Epic Systems, Data division on reporting and documents, as required
- Posting launch, optimizing and updating Epic Life & Benefits workflows, reports, and documents as required
- Planning, scheduling, and coordinating training on Epic system and workflows to all Life & Benefits employees, including Applied University (web) and live training
- Creating and maintaining Epic Life & Benefits training and support content, such as videos and reference materials
- Planning, scheduling, and coordinating training on Epic system and workflows to new employees, including Applied University (web) and live training
- Coordinating training to meet agency needs as identified through the Quality Assurance Program
- Participating as guest trainer in the Core Systems Competencies program, as needed
- Developing, implementing, and conducting Epic Life & Benefits Quality Assurance Program to identify training and workflow gaps

**_ Must haves:_**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Life & Benefits insurance industry
- 1-2 years’ experience in the Applied Epic Broker Management System, an asset
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Undergraduate University Diploma or Degree, preferably in technology or business, or equivalent experience
