As an Epic Support Specialist a typical day might include:_**
- Configuring new employees in Epic, adding appropriate structure, security, and visibility as required
- Updating configuration for existing employees moving to a new role, including updating structure, security, and visibility as required
- Planning, scheduling and coordinating training on Epic system and workflows to new employees, including Applied University (web) and live training
- Creating and maintaining training and support content, such as videos and reference materials
- Coordinating training to meet agency needs as identified through the Quality Assurance Program
- Participating as guest trainer in the Core Systems Competencies program, as needed
- Serving as first point of contact for employees, helping them to resolve workflow issues
- Working directly with Applied to troubleshoot errors as needed
- Maintaining an awareness of product updates that could impact and enhance agency operation
- Completing file reviews for new employees as part of the Quality Assurance Program
- Supporting corporate Quality Assurance Program as needed
- Supporting the development of new workflows and enhancement of existing workflows, as needed
- Participating in agency management conversions and amalgamations with regards to data mapping, workflow development, transaction entry, and training
- Helping with system clean-up efforts to improve data quality
- Maintaining security in accordance with internal controls
- Attending Applied and Applied Client Network courses to increase knowledge and skills.
- Adopting new collaboration software such as Microsoft Teams

**_Must haves:_**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the general insurance industry
- 1-2 years’ experience in the Applied Epic Broker Management system
- In-depth knowledge of insurance procedures, workflows, and systems
- Training and/or Subject Matter Expert experience with Epic is an asset
