**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Full-time: 40 hours per week

Part-time: 20 hours per week

Monday - Saturday 9-7 pm, Sunday 10-2 pm

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Greeting patients and all visitors kindly and respectfully.
- Obtaining patient vitals, height and weight.
- Scheduling and confirming patient appointments, procedures, referral and tests.
- Responding to patients and clinic visitors in a kind and timely manner.
- Registering new patients, checking-in and checking-out patients. of our office including
- Maintaining and updating and maintaining electronic medical records (EMR) system Accuro.
- Preparing clients for tests and examinations.
- Ensuring all exam rooms are disinfected before and after each patient.
- Maintain record of supplies and re-stocking.
- Ensures health and safety compliance.
- Responding to all phone inquiries and messages from patients.
- Responding to all online inquiries and messages from patients.
- Management of billing for patients and procedures and patients not covered by MB Health.
- Assisting supervisor with day-to-day administrative duties.
- Ensuring all patients and visitors are in a safe and respectful environment.
- Working as a part of a team.
- Attend monthly staff meetings.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Formal education and training**
- Completion of a medical secretary or medical office administration program and/ or equivalent work experience in medical office administration is required.

**Experience**
- Minimum three years of directly related experience in a clinic or healthcare setting is required.
- Experience working with an EMR system.
- An acceptable equivalent of education and experience may be considered.
- Valid and current criminal record check.

**Skills and abilities**
- Positive attitude and works well with others.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal to no supervision.
- Scheduling and organizational skills are required.
- Experience using EMR systems is required.
- Experience using Accuro EMR is preferred.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral are required.
- Work in a confidential and professional manner.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Demonstrates exemplary work performance and attendance record.
- Proficient in English, additional languages are a bonus.

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**:
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

COVID-19 considerations:
Everyone is required to wear a face mask upon entry into Clinic. Common surfaces are sanitized frequently to ensure safety of Staff and Patients.
