**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Contracts (70%)**:

- Provide proposal support to Sales/Marketing and Proposal Manager under the guidance of the Manager, Contracts.
- Maintain meticulous records and filing systems, including documenting the review of various agreements.
- Assist the Manager, Contracts in negotiating complex contracts, addressing concerns from internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure contracts accurately reflect positions against proposal responses or negotiated terms.
- Structure contracts and subcontracts to establish robust business relationships with customers and vendors.
- Prepare legal documents such as Non-disclosure Agreements, Technical Assistant Agreements, and contract amendments.
- Support the interpretation of contract terms and conditions, providing business and contractual advice to stakeholders.
- Participate in resolving scope changes as required by Program Managers.

**Contract Security Program and Controlled Goods (20%)**:

- Develop and maintain Security Orders and Technology Control Access Plans in accordance with government or contract requirements.
- Manage personal and government facility clearance, including renewals.
- Fulfill responsibilities as Company Security Officer and Designated Official for Controlled Goods Program.
- Conduct regular training sessions for the business unit on security protocols.
- Manage visit requests and security aspect letters, providing guidance to project teams.

**Export (10%)**:

- Coordinate export responses to vendors, including End Use Statements.
- Support external audits of site export control policies and procedures.
- Assist in the export control classification of products and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with Global Trade Compliance organization as necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in Aerospace, Maritime, defense, or technology design and manufacturing.
- Thorough understanding of ethical standards regarding contracting actions.
- Multi-disciplinary background or exposure to various operational disciplines.
- Knowledge of FAR/DFAR/SACC provisions is advantageous.
- Familiarity with CGP and CDN export, U.S. extra-territorial export regulations, and Contract Security Program regulations is desirable.
- Knowledge of foreign Industrial Security Programs is a plus.
