Inventory, Purchasing, and Supply Chain Manager

We’re a fast-paced small business accelerating out of the Panny (our cute name for the you know) and looking for an inventory & supply chain wizard (or wizard in training) who loves excel and keeping things organized. As a member of our office team, you will bring your positive energy, a keen eye for detail, and overall kind thoughtful nature to align with the rest of us. The selected applicant will work out of our office/warehouse space near Olympic Village.

**How We Roll**:
We aren’t your classic small business. We are a bunch of multi-talented, ass-kicking, team-playing, weirdos. We work in a close-knit, open-concept office attached to our 5000 sqft warehouse packed with all kinds of yummy goodies.and shared with some other super cool businesses: earth-loving businesses like ShareWares.ca, Jarr.co, and the OG of zero-waste grocery, Nada. Our ultimate goal is to revamp office culture into happy healthy zero-waste environments. The latter has been stalled with the Panny, but we will get back on track soon

**How You Roll**:
You are adaptable, you are familiar with working in an open-plan office and don’t get rattled by distractions and interruptions. You live and breathe stock numbers, and shine your brightest when given a diverse array of day-to-day work - you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty and learn all elements of the business.

**Position Details**:
This is a full-time position reporting to the CEO and the successful applicant will perform the following duties:

- Issue purchase orders as necessary based on inventory movements
- Establish and/or revise reorder points
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve any issues that might occur
- Create weekly shopping list for local suppliers
- Receive, check, and input orders into the ERP.
- Train new hires on warehouse and inventory best practices
- Assist the team during order pickup and shopping
- Work with other departments to ensure nothing gets missed
- Invoice creation

**Qualifications**:

- Education/work experience with Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Inventory
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced level Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables etc.)
- Understanding of Excel Macros, VBA is preferred
- Python is a plus but not required
- Able to work cross-functionally and within a team environment
- Hands-on, proactive and independent
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and with other Internet tools; namely Google Drive, Dropbox, e-commerce software (or a quick learner)
- Very detail oriented with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills; especially internally with teammates
- High comfort level working in a diverse environment - happy to step in and assist when needed (this is a must-have as we are a small team that relies on each other).
- Collaborative working style, easygoing, and proactive (receives direction well but also actively finds ways to help and improve)
- Calm under pressure, and excels at operating in a fast-paced environment where demands can change in a moment’s notice
- Good base of knowledge about healthy eating, reading labels and interest in new snack trends
- Common sense

**Compensation**:Starting at $45k-60k per year - will commensurate with experience and abilities
