Shipping & Packing Co-ordinator
Filling orders and packing them up in parcels for delivery is a feel-good, fun and satisfying job, if you love tasking and keeping busy. Efficiency, accuracy, a high level of attention to detail and speed are the key to success in this position. If you’re good at these things and enjoy them, this job is your cup of tea
Better still, you can feel great about this role, because we are leaders in eco-friendly packaging materials and products
Every year over 500,000 tonnes of waste are generated from gift-wrapping in Canada. That number has grown massively because of the popularity of online shopping. Excessive waste in packing parcels, as well as using non eco-friendly materials for shipping is a major contributer of waste.
But that is not usSince 1992 we’ve been doing business differently, making products that are good for people and the planet with our locally made, sustainably produced, organic tea, skin and bodycare.
Our packing materials are zero-waste and/or low waste and are reusable, recyclable and intentionally mínimal to reduce waste. We avoid excess packaging entirely because even when it is recyclable, the energy used in initial manufacture or later recycling can result in a high carbon footprint. Our approach to packing parcels and making products in a truly eco-friendly way, continues to be rare as compared to other companies.
You’ll also get the opportunity to learn new skills and build experience. If you’re interested in growing your career with us, we have a long track record of staff who started out in entry level positions who have gone on to become assistant managers, managers and more
