The Mechanical Production Build Lead, with minimum 5 years of automation experience, is responsible for overseeing and participating in the correct and efficient assembly of automated systems. The Senior Mechanical Production Build Lead will perform all work in accordance with company procedures and health and safety policies. The Senior Mechanical Production Build Lead will also ensure all levels of quality and deadlines are maintained during all aspects of production and installation. The Senior Mechanical Production Build Lead reports directly to the Mechanical Production Supervisor.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Follow directions from the mechanical production supervisor.
- Follow established build procedures.
- Read and interpret build drawings/schematics. Providing all modifications/changes to the engineering team.
- Coordination of manpower requirements with mechanical production supervisor to maintain all deadlines.
- Perform audits of production build drawings/schematics, BOM’s, and layout diagrams.
- International and domestic travel to install equipment in accordance with our installation procedures, and adherence to customer’s health and safety policies.
- Perform analysis of customer specifications and ensure job builds comply.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
- Liaison between engineering and production personnel.
- Ensuring quality is maintained including reporting deficiencies and maintaining all IPQA documentation.
- Oversee setup, alignment, and leveling of equipment using theodolites and alignment jigs.
- Rigging, lifting, and moving materials into the correct positions safely and efficiently.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- 426A or 433A Certificate of Qualification or equivalent trade certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical automation assembly, Able to lead a crew of 5+ members
- Ability to coordinate a high level of activities under a variety of conditions and constraints.
- High energy, adaptability, and overall ability to motivate fellow team members in a positive manner.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a constantly changing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and Office software.
- Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
- Strongly developed oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient organizational skills, attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to work.
- Able to travel internationally and possess an unencumbered G-level license.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
