**Minimum Starting Salary**:**$93,705; starting salaries are determined based on qualifications and years of related experience.

**About the Business Analyst, Strategic Initiatives Role**:
The Business Analyst, Strategic Initiatives supports the development and implementation of key institutional projects aligned with strategic priorities. This role analyzes data, develops business cases, and provides evidence-based recommendations to enhance decision-making processes. The position acts as a liaison between business units, supporting stakeholder engagement and process improvement initiatives to maximize institutional effectiveness and resource utilization.

The incumbent is responsible for anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, developing and implementing solutions, documenting and communicating the results.

**Education**

Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) or equivalent experience an asset.

**Experience/Skills**
- Budget experience
- Process mapping
- Effective interpersonal skills to deal with competing demands from various sources
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to adapt to an environment where change is frequent, and process ambiguity exists
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
- Project management experience as either a team member or leader
- Facilitation and presentation skills
