We are looking for a part time video producer/editor to work on social media and YouTube video production. This is an interesting and challenging position ideal for a highly creative and organized video producer who understands how to produce videos for social media. Working with the CEO you’ll be spearheading the development, production and editing of CEO video interviews using Zoom and Google Meet, creating short social media “cutdown” videos from existing YouTube content, and corporate storytelling videos where you’ll be directing collaborators who collect footage for us in remote locations from smartphones.

You’ll be creating short social media videos optimized for Twitter and Facebook as well as longer from videos for YouTube and corporate websites.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to write and produce video content optimized for YouTube that re-imagines existing content clips
- Direct and manage remote videographers
- Produce and edit corporate interview videos using Zoom, Google Meet or other video conferencing platforms
- Skilled at all creative stages — including conceptualization, production, and editing
- Create social “cut downs” for other video platforms (e.g. Instagram, Twitter, TikTok)
- Ensure the successful delivery of video projects
- Keep projects and working media organized and maintain accurate and detailed records of daily production
- Suggest formatting for titles, video thumbnails and other graphics as needed
- Assist with gathering analytical research on videos

**Requirements**:

- College diploma or equivalent practical experience in the video, media, or entertainment industry.
- In-depth knowledge of video production processes and activities and ability to effectively collaborate
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal presentation, writing and delivery.
- Exceptional organization and time management skills with a proven ability to deliver multiple production projects from start to finish
- A deep understanding of digital and social media marketing will be considered a strong asset.
- Effective and creative problem solving skills and a proven track record of proactively improving processes.
