Step Together is an online family wellness and coaching program dedicated to helping parents raise confident, healthy kids—without diets, shame, or restriction. Our mission is to end childhood obesity by empowering parents to transform their home environment and relationship with food.

About the Role

We're looking for a creative, reliable Video Editor who can turn raw footage into powerful, scroll-stopping video content.

You'll be working directly with our team to edit:

  • Testimonial videos from families inside our program
  • Long-form interviews and podcasts
  • Short-form Reels & TikToks
  • YouTube videos (5–20 mins)
  • B-roll education clips
  • Story-driven emotional content for families

This is a full-time remote role for someone who truly understands pacing, storytelling, and emotional engagement NOT just cutting clips together.

Your work will help thousands of families finally feel seen, understood, and hopeful.

Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form reels (15–60 seconds) and long-form videos for YouTube & podcasts
  • Add captions, subtitles, b-roll, transitions, and storytelling elements
  • Maintain brand consistency (fonts, colors, pacing, messaging)
  • Create multiple versions of clips for different platforms
  • Receive raw footage weekly and deliver polished edits on schedule
  • Collaborate with our content strategist on storytelling angles
  • Organize and manage video assets inside Google Drive

Qualifications

  • Good portfolio demonstrating emotional, story-driven editing
  • Comfortable adding on-screen captions, animations, and subtitles
  • Excellent command of English (no grammar or subtitle mistakes)
  • Ability to work fast and meet weekly deadlines
  • Great communication & openness to feedback
  • Experience editing content in health, mindset, or storytelling niches is a big plus
  • Must have reliable internet and your own editing software (Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut desktop, etc.)
