**About the Role**

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**

In this position, you will be responsible for:

- **Resource Allocation Strategy**: Develop and implement resource allocation strategies to ensure efficient utilization of resources in alignment with project objectives and organizational priorities. Efficiently manage workload and staffing requests for current customer projects while always prepared with staffing plans to meet and deliver pending projects for new prospective customers. Proactively identify required skillsets, training, hiring, and staffing needed to meet coming demand. Validate time and effort in SOW’s, CR’s and Work Orders, including staffing and scope clarity.
- **Scheduling**: Develop and maintain resource schedules, keeping track of availability, and proactively addressing scheduling conflicts. Work with the leadership team to develop the right team for every project. Analyze backlog to ensure projects are staffed appropriately.
- **Capacity Planning**: Collaborate with project managers, department heads, and team leads to forecast resource needs, identify potential bottlenecks, and recommend solutions for optimal resource utilization.
- **Resource Optimization**: Monitor and analyze resource utilization data, identify opportunities for optimization and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.
- **Reporting and Analysis**: Generate comprehensive reports on resource allocation, utilization, and performance metrics for management review, providing insights and recommendations for improvement and to maximizing billable utilization and revenue. Create dashboards analyzing resource time accounting vs scheduled work. Analyze data related to booked vs actuals, financial forecasts, and resource utilization to provide comprehensive reports for management review.
- **Utilization Review**: Regularly review and assess resource utilization across projects, identifying opportunities for optimization and making recommendations for improvement. Meet or exceed quarterly revenue and utilization targets.
- **Cross-functional Collaboration**: Work closely with cross-functional teams (project managers, team leads, and department heads) to understand project requirements, provide guidance on resource availability, and foster effective communication channels. Proactively work with each project manager to validate the resource load in the Statement of Work and ensure that the resource requests and forecasts are fully and properly entered in Projector PSA. Proactively reach out, identify, and negotiate opportunities with Project Manager’s and Project Advisor’s to staff available resources on their projects.
- **Communication**: Serve as a central point of contact for resource-related inquiries, providing timely and clear communication to stakeholders regarding resource availability and assignments. Address and resolve resource-related staffing conflicts or issues, collaborating with relevant parties to find efficient and effective solutions.
- **Policy Development**: Contribute to the development and implementation of resource management policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance overall efficiency. Support and contribute towards the creation of Implementation policies and procedures to ensure that all customer deliverables are high quality and are completed as intended.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process improvement in resource management and lead initiatives to enhance overall effectiveness.
- **Risk Assessment**: Assess potential risks related to resource availability, allocation, and utilization, proposing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience as a Resource Analyst or Manager in a professional services organization.
