Hi, Welcome to Coppa The makers of Ontario’s tastiest gelato and sorbet We’re growing and looking to add members to our Warehouse Team As a Coppa Warehouse Team Member, you will be involved in the packaging/labelling set-up and running of the packaging production lines as needed for various products. You will also be involved in the receiving of raw goods and materials, organizing and managing those goods and materials, as well as the picking, packing and shipping of finished products Communication is the key to success at Coppa as you will be required to work in both team settings and on your own depending on the tasks required that day.

**Position Summary**

The Production Line/Warehouse Operator plays an integral role in the efficient operation of the manufacturing facility by following all Health and Safety, Food Safety, GMPs, SOPs and other internal procedures in relation to their scheduled activities. The incumbent also ensures compliance with current legislation regarding CFIA, OHSA, OMAFRA and municipal governing bodies. The operator is responsible for documenting all activities and submitting related paperwork for approval.

**Key Responsibilities**
- General_
- Work on the production line in a variety of roles, in relation to operation and sanitation of the production lines.
- Responsible for practicing and adhering to Food Safety, Standard Operating Procedures, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP and Health & Safety polices at all times.
- Other reasonable duties as assigned by management.
- Production Line_
- Weighing ingredients, staging, and blending and packaging.
- Ensure quality output that meets company standards.
- Becoming familiar with and operating machinery.
- Documenting all production-related activities on relevant paperwork.
- General equipment maintenance.
- Warehouse_
- Palletizing and rotating finished stock.
- Performing shipping and receiving operations
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Picking and staging orders.
- Documenting movement of goods.
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse space.
- Completing end of month inventory counts.
- Completing non-production master sanitation list (weekly).
- Labeling_
- Ensuring labels are applied in accordance with CFIA regulations.
- Maintaining a record of on-hand label stock.
- Ensure accurate lot numbers and date codes are printed
- General equipment maintenance.

**Qualifications**
- Completion of high school education or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of manufacturing experience considered an asset.
- Experience in food or dairy manufacturing preferred.
- Experience with HACCP, GMP’s, and Safe food handling considered an asset.

**Abilities Required**
- Ability to speak, read, write and basic comprehension of English.
- Good hand and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 25 Kg.
- Shift flexibility

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $19.50-$20.50 per hour
