Our focus is on strategically growing our Canadian and Import/Export operations and we seek a leader with immdeiate transportation industry expertise to run and develop this branch.

The groups overall business is built on providing specialized final-mile, white glove, transportation, storage and international logistics services to specific market segments. These specialized industry segments include services to fine arts, high value electronics, medical systems, HVAC, store fixtures, rigging and some heavy lift / heavy move areas.

**The Position**:
**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage all aspects of the day to day business such as HR staffing, Sales, Operations and Billing.
- Strategically manage all logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.
- Develop and support sales targets that align with area goals and business model.
- Work with the company leadership in setting annual targets and budgets.
- Review trade areas and identify new market opportunities for the company to explore.
- Efficiently manage regional resources, including vehicles, equipment, and personnel, to fulfill operational demands and business goals.
- Provide price quote and proposal support for staff and customers.
- Comply with laws, regulations, and security program requirements.
- Ensure safety in the workplace and encouraging a safety-oriented culture throughout the facility.
- Participate in corporate training calls and meetings with other office locations as and when scheduled or required.
- Be available if or as needed to support staffing with after hours customer needs or emergency situations that may arise.

**Qualifications**:

- Possess a bachelor’s degree or relevant industry work experience.
- A minimum of 5 years immediate experience in transportation, distribution and/or logistics management.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a managerial position.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of transportation, logistics operations, fleet management, routing and warehousing.
- Exceptional aptitude for leadership and team management.
- Excellent organizational and coordination abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive “can-do” mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Communication skills, both oral and written in both French and English.

- Superviser et gérer tous les aspects des activités quotidiennes comme la dotation en personnel des RH, les ventes, les opérations et la facturation.
- Gérer stratégiquement toute la logistique, l'entrepôt, le transport et les services aux clients.
- Élaborer et soutenir des objectifs de vente qui correspondent aux objectifs de la région et au modèle commercial.
- Travailler avec la direction de l'entreprise pour établir les objectifs et les budgets annuels.
