**Summary**

The Lobby Restaurant and Lounge is located at the Pier Hotel at the Pier (North Vancouver) just steps away from Lonsdale Quay and the Seabus Terminal in North Vancouver Historic Shipyard.

We are looking for a full time bartender and lounge server up to 4 shifts a week. You are outgoing, friendly and professional, with meticulous attention to detail and a track record of going above and beyond for your guests. Our Front of the house team delivers exceptional food and drink while creating a unique experience to every one of our guests.

**Duties**
- Provide excellent guest service in the Lobby Lounge
- Take and serve food and beverages orders
- Prepare all beverages for the restaurant and private dining
- Set up and tearing down the bar and lounge tables
- Record sales accurately in Micros P.O.S. system
- Ensure compliance with provincial liquor regulations and legislation.
- Work safely at all times.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation to the Hotel safety program.
- Be health and safety conscious and involved in maintaining a safe work environment
- Complies with Pinnacle Hotel policies and code of ethics

**Job Requirements**
- Must have “Serving It Right” certificate
- Previous experience both Server and Bartender (Min. 1 year)
- Ability to handle high volume of business
- WSET is a definitive asset
- Must be well self-motivated, responsible, organized
- Have excellent communication and guest services skills
- Must be available to work Sunday evenings from 4.30pm as a regular shift. Other scheduled shifts are assigned to accommodate operational needs of a hotel environment, including statutory holidays

**Physical Demands**:

- Lifting - under 20 lbs
- Carrying - over 20 lbs
- Pulling - over 20 lbs - bending, standing, reaching and kneeling.

**Salary**: $17.14-$20.17 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
