We are a group of energetic women who love all things Guiding -- especially patches We believe everyone should be rewarded and recognized for their accomplishments to build their most precious assets: their self-esteem and confidence in themselves. We do this by creating products that can be displayed proudly, are fun to collect and are unique to each individual's talents and interests. It captures a snapshot of who they are and what they can become.

We are recruiting a long-term **Order Fulfillment / Customer Service** staff member to join our fun patch team here in Sylvan Lake The position is challenging and fun, especially if you're involved in Guiding or Scouting and there's definitely room to grow with us as we expand into the retail world

A typical day in looks like this:

- importing orders into our system and printing and processing those orders
- picking patches off our shelves and package them for mailing

Traits that will be very beneficial:

- love computers and you learn new software programs quickly, this is essential
- extremely organized
- hate to make typos and you proofread everything
- attention to detail is just part of your nature
- love Guiding or Scouting because they are our customers, and we love your opinion on new designs and products
- love talking to people because you'll be answering the phone while trying to fill orders and our customers won't stop talking but you gotta’ get the orders out
- be super excited when our new designs arrive, and you can't wait to rip open the box to see what's new and you feel like it's Christmas
- enjoy working with numbers because you'll have to count all that new stuff you just got excited about plus count all the items you’re packaging up for each order
- ability to laugh and make people laugh (especially me)
- be flexible to work 3 days a week typically Monday - Wednesday sometimes 4 days depending on the schedule, summer is slower so there'll be less hours and fall and spring are the busiest times so 8 hours a day and 5 days a week is the norm

More traits that will be very beneficial:

- experience with Photoshop and familiar with image processing - we have over a thousand images to scan and re-process - yup there's ALOT

The ideal applicant will be a quick learner, follow directions, pay attention to detail, be organized and work at our office. Reliability and punctuality are necessary.

Having been or still a Girl Guide / Scout member is desirable but not necessary.

**Timeline**: This is an in-person position that starts after the September Labour Day weekend in a part-time position with the opportunity to expand to full time.

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
