The Opportunity
As we continue with our aggressive growth strategy, we are seeking a Full Time Marketing Coordinator to join our team. Are you a recent grad looking to dive in and use your education? We are looking for full-time administrative and marketing support, reporting directly to Office Manager and working in close collaboration with the CEO and Business Development Manager.
**About you**:
You are a creative team player with a positive attitude. You love a well-thought-out plan, are organized, know how to manage your time, and stay motivated. In addition, you like building relationships, have excellent communication skills, enjoy creative problem solving, and look for harmony when working alongside a variety of people in a fast-paced team environment. Most importantly, you are open-minded with a growth mindset, are coachable and willing to learn. This full-time position is based out of our Edmonton head office
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Monitoring and evaluating marketing strategies
- Upkeep and maintenance of social media accounts
- Coordination of content contractors
- Troubleshooting any website issues/errors
**Qualifications/Skills**:
- Beginner knowledge of WordPress and WPBakery builder
- Intermediate knowledge of SEO and/or WordPress SEO plugins
- Coordination skills
- Planning skills
- Professional Social media experience (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
What do we value?
- Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications or Visual Communications preferred.
- 0-3 years in a busy office environment preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and collaborative tools (SharePoint, Teams), Mac IOS preferred.
- Familiarity with design software, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), and WordPress CMS would be an asset.
- Knowledge of marketing automation tools preferred.
- Bonus points for experience in photography & videography content creation and social media scheduling and analytics.
**NOTE**: you do not have to have 100% of these skills to apply. We recognize education as experience.
