**About the position**:
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Production Operator is a key member of our Operations team and performs all warehouse duties within a unionized environment as required.

**Where you’ll work**:Edmonton West facility, 5 days per week on site

**What you’ll do**:

- Material handling of hazardous products
- Pick orders and prepare them for shipping using a forklift to place products on skids and wrap skids, and then load the skids onto trucks
- Prepares product orders for customers to include custom blending and packaging
- Transload chemicals into packaged containers (Drums, Carboys, Pails, IBC’s etc)
- Shift is 6AM-2:30PM Monday through Friday, with potential for overtime hours

**What you’ll need**:

- High school diploma or equivalent working experience.
- Chemical blending experience an asset
- Previous experience working with hoses & valves.
- Demonstrated focus on safety, and an ability to follow detailed work instructions.
- Strong mathematical, and basic to intermediate computer skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
