**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Controller to work from our Bedford Highway office.

**Primary Responsibilities Include**:

- Full cycle accounting: Accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and payroll, month end journals
- Government remittances for payroll, HST and income tax
- Renewal of maintenance contracts
- IT trouble-shooting
- Attending training sessions for Syspro software
- Diagnostic and balancing of subledgers in Syspro
- Preparing deposits in a timely manner
- Generating year-end journal entries
- Preparing files for year-end review
- Generating monthly rebate reports for select companies

**Skills/Abilities Include**:

- Attention to detail
- Computer literacy
- Professionalism
- Adaptability and willingness to learn
- IT knowledge an asset but not required
- Knowledge of the flooring industry an asset but not required

**Qualifications**:Completion of a university degree or college diploma in business administration with an emphasis on accounting.

**Compensation**:Commensurate with experience. Benefits available after 3 months.
