Mac’s II Agencies is a leading manufacturer’s representative agency connecting global lighting and electrical brands with the Western Canadian market. Our team is growing, and we’re looking for an energetic and driven Lighting Outside Sales Representative to expand our footprint across the Lower Mainland.
**The Opportunity**
We are seeking a motivated Lighting Outside Sales Representative to manage and grow relationships with electrical distributors, contractors, and end users across the Lower Mainland. You’ll work closely with distribution partners to drive stock and project sales, support contractors on product solutions and availability, and engage with end users to design lighting solutions for retrofit projects or new facilities.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and can spot opportunities to create value at every step of the sales process.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key electrical distributors throughout the Lower Mainland, promoting stocked and project-specific lighting solutions.
- Support electrical contractors with product selections, pricing, and project management assistance.
- Conduct end user site visits to assist with lighting audits, retrofits, and the design of new facilities.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across multiple channels.
- Educate customers on new products, programs, and technologies offered by Mac’s II and our manufacturing partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies and ensure timely follow-up on opportunities.
- Attend manufacturer training sessions and local industry events to maintain strong product knowledge and market awareness.
**Qualifications**
- 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the electrical, lighting, or construction industry.
- Experience working with electrical distributors, contractors, or end users is a strong asset.
- Proficiency in **Microsoft Office** Suite.
- Familiarity with lighting layouts and design tools (AGI32, DIALux) is beneficial but not required.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a field-based role.
**Additional Information**
- The territory covers the Lower Mainland from **Chilliwack to North Vancouver**.
- Some travel within the region will be required, with occasional evening events or training sessions.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
